Humphrey Update
Well here we are with Humphrey's second newsletter, this year seems to be flying by. But the good thing is the weather has improved with warmer days along with lighter evenings.
At this time of year Humphrey is one extra happy pug. There is nothing he likes more than spending lots of time outside on garden patrol. This means waiting patiently (or impatiently) for anything to fly over, birds, aeroplanes or the occasional helicopter. Upon seeing them he immediately springs into action running at full speed barking at the same time until the air intruder has taken notice and left. This is then followed by a victory dance of turning in circles along with more barking. These sky intruders are no match for a pug!
On the other hand I have to pay extra attention as other garden intruders include bees and wasps which Humphrey also loves to chase, although they also fight back with Humphrey having been stung a couple of times in previous years which he does not like. This means a trip to the vet which he likes even less. But does he learn, the answer is no - there is too much fun this time of year chasing anything that moves....
Not far around the corner is summer, the glorious hot weather (well occasional if you live in the UK :) Humphrey's opinion of these temperatures are sunbathing yes... walking no! More on this story in our next newsletter
Until next time.
